Lady Mother of GaGa PART 1

Remember how I mentioned that we won 2 tickets to the AMAZINGLY talented bitch Lady Gaga's concert , about a month ago? 

We were not only given 2 tickets to her concert but were invited to experience a night of pure ecstasy watching Lady Gaga perform LIVE! Both of us are 2 very fortunate girls, for that we are incredibly grateful for 98.7fm for giving us this opportunity to immerse ourselves into Lady Gaga glory.

On an occasion like this it was incredibly hard to not take advantage of the situation and camwhore our asses  off. So be advised it ain't gonna be pretty.

The venue was located in the Kallang indoor stadium, truth be told I had no freaking clue where it was, only know that it was probably close to the Stadium MRT. I may be a Singaporean and Singapore is not that all big, but I'm shitty Singaporean.

Here's the beautiful sunset with a shit load of people queuing up. And I was really reluctant to join that party, fortunately for us we didn't need to queue up because we weren't part of the mosh pit. Our initial reaction to this was WHERE DO WE GO NOW? How do we get there, you'd think there would be a lot of ushers there to guide you but no. We had to actually try and find out for ourselves, which surprisingly wasn't that hard.

So here we both are closer to Lady Gaga then we ever were in our entire lives. Just standing next to this massive gigantic could probably make you piss your pants. But I have amazing bladder control so it didn't happen.

Even in there it felt so surreal that Lady Gaga was actually in her stage room prepping for an amazing performance.

One of the sign that showed us that we were in the right theatre concert. 

Remember I mentioned about the INSANE queue outside the indoor stadium with a lot of little monster all glamed up for Lady Gaga? Well this here directly infront of the centre stage is an incredibly spacious 'moss pit' . And what you're entitled in this area is just basically squeezing and jumping all night long to sick beats of Lady Gaga's goodness. Not to mention you get to see her up close and personal if you get what I mean ;P. They are basically 'THE FRONT ROW TICKETS', it sounds amazing in theory but being there in person, I'm grateful for the seats I got.

I'm not kidding when I say this post is bombarded with probably the most narcissistic protrayal of myself  since god knows how long. Thinking back, time has changed a lot since secondary school. How I could easily take a few hundred photos of myself with excitement. Now I cringe when I think about all those times filled with awesome memories of silly shit I do that I share with the friends I had then, even though now I've moved on from those days, I'll always have hilarious moments to back me up.

This amazing individual, unfortunately don't know him in person and I should because he's uber cool. Why? cause he wears fucking 5 inch heels. on top of all this he's got an awesome mask

Initially I thought Lady Gaga would turn up to suppress all the suspense, but instead  it kept building on, we have I think in my opinion the best DJ I've heard so far, beats that could actually rock your body till it drops The hype was so thick you could literally walk on it. It wasn't just the music but the whole atmosphere in the theatre changed the moment he started with a bang, with the spot lights dancing around illuminating and blending in with the shadows all at the same time. Your body begins to move with the rhythm and the wave of sensation filling the air. It was like the DJ was the puppet master and we're the puppets.

By this time you'd think the moss pits be filled with fanatics and people basically losing themselves to the music but no, they seemed pretty stagnant from where I was standing. Which was surprising because it was the first row. You'll be getting Lady Gaga's and her back up dancers sweat if you're lucky.

The crazy dancing spotlights possibly blinded me temporarily but it was all worth it.

Another devoted fan, willing to go through all that effort to paint himself and basically not touch anything. Must be incredibly uncomfortable.

Finally after all that suspense, Gaga and her team of specialist began rocking the world one second at a time.

And with that the world stopped for a second, the ugly curtains were pulled back to reveal the Haus of Gaga

Ever Seen a Mermaid?

If you recognized this at first glance you'll instantly know where I'm heading. These structures my lovelies help transport incredibly heavy trading goods that comes in massive steel containers that probably weighs a tonne? Also one of the main factors that contributes to Singapore's flourishing wealth is our sea port. When I was typing this out it reminded me of my geography and social study lessons, where we had to write about the diversity of the growing and ever evolving economy. It was a nightmare but it was fun to write, cause it was all basically bullshitting.

the eminent cable cars. i'm not sure if anyone still took them but they've been up there in mount faber since 1974 till 2005 they evolved into the the not that shiny jewel box they called it.

now if you're singaporean, you definitely know where this is. if you don't let me enlighten you, this particular weird alien like structure is known as vivo city and it has been designed by the amazing toyo ito. but too be honest i don't think it's that fantastic. it might be because they were on a tight budget or toyo ito didnt have time to fully maximize his design due to time constraints, whatever it isn't impressive.

that's one of the star cruises that people spend a lot of money for to be in a ship for a couple of days. why? beats me, i guess the voyage is awesome? might want to try it some day

no sentosa was not as crystal clear as this, how unfortunate right? i think i practically squealed when i entered underwater world. the last time since i've been to this fish haven? probably back in primary school when it was free and the government paid for trips like this using edusave. boy was it fun

the pool by the entrance was particularly shallow to allow you to touch the fishes (that's if you can catch them)

lucky for us we managed to make it just in time for the amazing dolphin shows. this dolphin lagoon is home to several intelligent indo pacific humpback dolphins. i forgot why they were pink=(

even though they both look the same, they were built very much differently

firstly seals equipped with special tails enables them to walk flop about on land, while sealions can't because their tails aren't designed that way.
