Birds Of a Feather Flock Together

I think this was the first time I've actually consciously went to Jurong Bird Park since I was probably 4 or 5. Yea that was pretty much historical. It's weird to think about time when it travels fast and slow all at the same time. I turn back remembering just a glimpse of my past being in this Bird Park. Or the Zoo, well back then they were all the same to me. I thought all animals were all in the zoo.
I mean I could tell the difference between animals and birds but the zoo had birds too. But I enjoyed my day thoroughly.
That pelican was trying to be funny, actually they were fighting. We fight with fists, they don't have fists so they try to gobble each others head in. Would be really funny to watch if that happened.
Birds are so damn colourful it hurts my eyes. I don't remember what species this little guy is from but I forgot one thing. Birds also love worms. Yea, squirmy little bastards. But that's alright, I tried to keep my cool.
Jurong Bird Park is known to be the largest bird park in Asia. I don't know if that's true but that's what they claim to be. But they got some collection int here and I loved it. I never really thought much about birds.

The birds that are commonly around in Singapore are pigeons and those black birds also known as Javan Myan did you know that? No I learn new shit everyday.
Be warned that this post will be dominated by pelicans because I love pelicans and I don't know why.
But there is something charming about this pouched beaks
They called them pink Flamingos, I think flaming flamingos would be more appropriate.
Look at the size of that pocket!

Brilliant colours on that bird.
Does it seem familiar to you?

Say hello to my Great White Pelican.
We make good company no?
There are 7/8 of species that the Bird Park has, we have the Great White Pelican, Spotted Bill Pelican, Dalmatian Pelican, Australian Pelican. These pelicans are fucking huge and can weigh up to 11kg.

Must be hard to clean themselves.
Le Black Swan
Check out the size of their wings.
Some are vicious but these one's are pretty friendly
King penguins. It'd weird cause these came from the coast of Antarctica and we are a tropical country. They must be enjoying themselves in there.

Tried to capture one swimming but my battery was threatening to kill my camera.

I love the pelicans.

They had a live show for us at the Pelican coast where they feed them. You see the excited bunch of pelicans just waiting to be fed.

Hey I'm Bill how are you doing. I think this is the most polite looking menacing fish I've seen. It stays there with its mouth open like that. It's as if it was smiling at us and talking but I can't hear a thing. It was cute and I called him Bill.

I got to feed the Pelicans thanks to Matt being smart and answering the questions for me. So I won a chance to feed my favorite birds. I wasn't paying attention to what the commuter was explaining about the species of these birds but I was just gazing at the magnificent birds while they try to fight over food.
This was supposed to be the rare dinosaur bird. I shit you not. I was trying to revive my camera at this point but I couldn't and this was the only shot I had of the beautiful large ass bird.
Look at the colours on that bird
It seems wrong to see a genuine bald eagle in cage. But it's safe and it isn't eating the other birds up. They can be vicious.
