1920s fashion: The world saw the rise of a modern and new woman, who had rights to vote and smoke a cigarrete in public

Jean Paul Gaultier haute couture f/w 2011
Inspired by the Great Gatsby
I find it absolutely stunning how Jean Paul Gaultier designed such beautiful pieces
By implementing the 20s fashion and modernity to give woman that confidence
With the shoulder pads and that amazing structure he implements in his design
I think he did absolutely amazing job at tackling feminism
The power of women with daring block colours and bold silhouettes all brings together an astounding piece of art dedicated for woman to express their inner girl power. With the classic tailored suit to donn the idea of androgyny and endure the cultural reversal of attitude towards sexuality

If you are interested, i got the inspiration from this website.

Fashionista of the week

Taylor Tomasi-Hill is a style and accessories director for US Marie Claire Magazine
She also describes herself as a "clothing chameleon"
Her style is to bring cohesion of feminine pieces with edgier, bold and masculine items
I absolutely adore her style of fashion
I'm very inspired by the contrasting of feminine and masculine, makes the wow factor
She is the queen of accessorizing
She inspired me to use more accessories to complete my outfit
I think accessories give the outfit a character
It helps enhance the personality of your particular style
Accessories aren't just extra props, they are part of your style
Like how Taylor Tomasi pull them together
How she made them work together like the gears of the clock

I extremely love the Alexander McQueen vest that gives her the bold edge that inspires me to experiment more.

Bath-Roman Bath

The Great Bath was an amazing tourist attraction
It brings the history of the Romans to your face
Well not literally, but the conservation of Roman artifacts was astounding
Immediately when we drove into Bath i felt as if we were in another country
But Bath was very much developed in architecture style thanks to the Romans
I felt embarrassed not know the history of the Roman occupation in Britain
But I'm learning!
Apparently the Romans were very organized and extremely clever to build sound structures
They were amazing Georgian style architecture, sadly i didn't take photos of them to refer to
Here is the amazing bath, which was really worth making a trip to
Roman architecture before my very eyes, i know how very lucky
Most of the Roman Baths were destroyed, but this one was restored and preserved for more then educating purposes.
It must have been strange to see centuries old architecture
Not only architecture, but the lifestyle that's been embedded in each details of the bath
How there were magnificent statues and intricately designed pillars, oh they were so brilliant
They tried to preserve as much of the Bath as possible but a lot of it was destroyed
You might think this was stale water, but this Bath is directly from the hot spring
You can literally see steam emanating from the water surface

I love dressing up, I admit i'm pretty darn vain
but which girl isn't?
who doesn't wanna look fabulous?
