Bourton on the Water

Amazingly beautiful village with incredible architectural style of pitched roof and cotswold stone walls brings the place to life with vibrance and animosity
I fell in love with Bourton on the Water immediately when I saw the ducks travelling through the river in the middle of the estates
Here was the miniature musuem of Bourton on the Water
The tiny to scale models was absolutely astounding, you'd think creating a scaled model was hard
These guys put me to shame, all the these tiny stone models were all hand made, with 100% real materials, yes real materials.
Most of the houses and shops in Bourton were build with cotswold stone if im not wrong
Cotswold stone is a yellow oolithic limestone quarried in many places in Cotswold Hills
I felt like a giant in the miniature town

That's how detailed the models were, absolutely astounding piece of art.
Like I said these were built with natural real materials, spitting image of how the real scale Bourton on the Water would be.
Here's Matt walking down the street of tiny Bourton on the Water
It's strange to find out that the architecture in England dates back so long
Most of the architecture in England is older then Singapore
These are the buildings that weathered through great amounts of historical events and stood erect through out.
Stone was utilized in abundance in England
As for Singapore, we talk to the precast concrete experts and POW you get a massive erect structure known as the HDB solving our major accommodation problems
We head down to this crazy bird park, and i mean crazy
The birds they don't get locked up in cages or glass boxes
They were allowed to roam free in the reserve
I thought it was absolutely cool because you can pretty get up close and personal with these birds
Birdland is set in woodland, river and gardens. this natural setting is inhabited by over 500 birds. Flamingos, pelicans, penguins, cranes, storks, cassowary and waterfowl can be seen on various aspects of the water habitat. Over 50 aviaries of parrots, falcons, pheasants, hornbills, toucans, touracos, pigeons, ibis and many more. The Desert House is home to the more delicate species.
Discovery Zone is an indoor educational area with Trigg Hall lecture theatre. There is also the new 2.5 acre Marshmouth Nature Reserve, inhabited by many species from otter and water vole to dragonflies and kingfishers.
Also new the Encounter Zone where you can mneet keepers with snakes, spiders, birds and much more.
This was captured at the end of the day, i know it's amazing
Felt like God was touching earth with His brilliance
This was the cafe where we had our battered cod fish with chips and peas
Unfortunately i was far too hungry to be bothered take a few snaps

saw a couple of Emu's
The king penguins were amazing shit when up close
You can really feel that they owned that piece of territory they had

Here's the tiny Chinese restuarants
Chinese food is a rarity in England
I know, how do i survive right?
I do miss life in Singapore
But i enjoy embracing this experience in England

Massive amount of ducks swimming in the river
I came across an amazing crystal store
nearly wanted to buy the whole store!
In the end i settled for an amazing Quartz crystal pendent
